Mrs. Cox-Jones:  

I collect penguins!

                  I am a proud product of the Omaha Public Schools.  I attended Hartman Elementary, 

King Science Center & Northwest High School.

What should parents know about you?

Mrs. Cox-Jones:  

That I am dedicated to helping build relationships between our Skinner Family and yours!

How long have you been a principal?

Mrs. Cox-Jones:  

This is my 7th year as the principal at Skinner and 9th year as a principal.  

Question:  

What did you do before becoming the principal here at Skinner?

Mrs. Cox-Jones:    

-Principal at Dodge Elementary for 2 years. 
      

                   -Assistant Principal at Kellom Elementary for 2 years.  

                   -Science Lead Teacher at TAC for 1.5 years. 

                  -Taught 6th grade Science at King Science and Technology Magnet Center for 3.5 years. 

                  -Taught 4th grade at Western Hills Magnet Center for 1year.

What do you like best about Skinner Magnet Center?

The wonderful staff, students, families and community members we have here at Skinner.

Mrs. Cox-Jones:  

Purple.

Penguins.
